Why Conquer Athlete offers the Best Online CrossFit Training

I am sure this is a question that every company out there can answer, or at least think they can answer. I will take this time to outline a few attributes that we deliver from EVERY coach in our program. These are the things that you cannot put a finger on, or explain in a discovery call. These are the things that go unnoticed or not be talked about, but are what truly drives the ship for Conquer as well as athlete development on the whole.

Communication
This is number one. The best coach/athlete relationships are the ones where communication comes before all else. When the coach understands the communication the athlete needs, then the athlete will have more buy-in to what they are doing. There are many ways for coaches to communicate well, but the athlete should feel heard and understood. This is like a marriage, and the coach needs to be able to have the right language where the athlete can understand, grasp, and apply the information. Additionally, the coach needs to be able to hear the athlete in their goals and frustrations. The better the two can communicate, the more effective the program will be.

Attention to the pillars
In our world, there are a few things that are completely necessary, and if attention is not brought to them in the beginning, then you are creating a ceiling for yourself. These pillars are the attention required in considering nutrition, hydration, recovery, mindset, and breathing. At Conquer, we are not just living this, but talking about them continually, and ensuring they are dialed in with where your program is.

Mindset

Coaching goes way beyond just talking about body position. Mindset goes deep into the language and stories athletes are telling themselves, and understanding where these stories are coming from. To truly develop a strong mindset, the coach needs to peel away the layers that the athletes have built up in order to protect themselves because, in actuality, these layers are the very thing that blocks athletes from thriving. Conquer Coaches understand how to talk to athletes about their stories and bring light to the root of them. This is the only way a true strong and resilient mindset can be achieved.

The understanding of fatigue management

With training, especially when multiple modalities come into play, the coach needs to understand the role of fatigue and how the brain and body respond to what is occurring. If they do not pay attention to this, then the athlete will often become hurt. Signs that the coach is looking into fatigue management will revolve around them asking questions around how you’re feeling. They will ask about your recovery perception, if you are achieving the right stimulus around the workout, your ability to hit the weights prescribed, and data you might have via devices such as a Whoop or Garmin. The coach doesn’t need to do all of this, but adherence to any of it will put them, and you, on the right track. At Conquer, our coaches understand the principles of fatigue management and how to look into their athletes to notice changes that may stem from fatigue.

Check-Ins

In this day and age, where everything is online, there are so many ways that your coach can stay on top of you and hold you accountable.  Conquer Coaches are checking in at least 5 times a week, reviewing video, supplying feedback, and keeping you up to speed on what’s going on.

These are the five things that can’t really be sold. These are the things that you will slowly notice, and notice how they make all the difference. These are the things that drive trust and buy-in.  These are the things that truly allow the coach to know and understand the athlete. These are the things that set us apart from everyone else, and truly make Conquer Athlete the best around.
