Episode #149: Chad Wesley Smith
Chad is the owner and founder of Juggernaut Training Systems, as well as being one of the most highly regarded strength coaches and athletes of the modern era. As an athlete, Chad has posted Top 10 All-Time Total in wraps (1055kg/2325#) and sleeves (1010kg/2226#), won 2 National Championships in the Shot Put and earned his Pro Card in Strongman. These days he is applying his long time strength training experience to the sport of Jiu Jitsu and helping athletes build the sort of functional strength that will translate well onto the mat. Enjoy

Rob Orlando is the original CrossFit Superman. He came out of the professional strongman world and was the first real strength athlete to make the transition into CrossFit. John Welbourn is CEO of Power Athlete, as well as the creator of the online training platform, Johnnie WOD. He is a 9 year veteran of the NFL and was a starter for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999-2003, the Kansas City Chiefs from 2004-2007, and appeared in 3 NFC Championship games. After retiring from the NFL, John got involved with CrossFit and eventually developed the CrossFit Football program. John has worked with the MLB, NFL, NHL, Olympic athletes as well as the Military, and he currently travels the world lecturing on performance and nutrition for Power Athlete.

Dave Lipson is an accomplished coach, athlete, writer and founder of Thundrbro. He is a former professional baseball player, CrossFit athlete with multiple appearances as an individual at the CrossFit Games, and NPC Nationally qualified bodybuilder in heavyweight bodybuilding, classic physique and physique. He has won overalls of shows in all mens categories. Dave is an accomplished educator specializing in exercise physiology. He has written 4 books on the science of muscle hypertrophy and the training/nutrition protocols for blending aesthetics with elite human performance. His specialties include strategies for muscle and strength gain as well as cutting body fat and recomposition.
